First Place at Faith Reformed

Physical, spiritual, mental and emotional health can be yours if you study and apply God's Word to your life. First Place
can show you how. We invite you join us on Monday mornings or Thursday evenings for fun, fellowship and faith! You,
too can have a new body and soul with the Bible's way to total health and balanced living!

The "Skinny" on Our Meetings!
The 13-week "2008 Spring Session" will begin on Monday morning, February 18 9:30-11:00 am and on Wednesday
evening, February 20 at 6:00-7:30 pm. Both meetings will be led by Suzanne Mason. New members are always welcome
to join either group, but we encourage them to start by the SECOND meeting of each session.

Our group is open to anyone in the Grand Traverse area who would like to participate in the First Place Program. We
hold our meetings at Faith Reformed Church located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Front Street and
Garfield Avenue, at the base of Old Mission Peninsula. We meet every Monday and Wednesday (see meeting times
above) in the Family Life Center, Conference Room.

Costs and Materials
There is no cost for the First Place Program, however each member will need to purchase the following:

1. First Place Member’s Kit This is a one-time expense of around $63. The First Place Members Kit includes: First Place
Member's Guide, Choosing to Change book, Health for Life book, 2 Motivational CDs, a Food Exchange Pocket Guide,
13 Commitment Records, and Walking in the Word: Scripture Memory Verses.

2. First Place Bible Study A different Bible Study will be used for each 13-week session and costs around $7.55. The Bible
Study we will be using for the 2008 SPRING Session is, "Life That Wins."

3. Bible Every group member will need a Bible in order to do Bible Study and Scripture Reading.

All materials will be available in class by the first meeting. They can also be purchased at your local Christian bookstore,
through First Place national at www.firstplace.org, or on other book web sites. Some people have even found their
materials on ebay! Make checks payable to Faith Reformed Church.
